Description

Commissioned by the Mayor of Ghent and completed before 1432, this truly great work was started by Hubert van Eyck and completed by his (more famous) brother, Jan Van Eyck. Richard Stemp explores this polyptych altarpiece which has recently been restored to its former glory.
